Jam Bars

This recipe was for the Jam Bars that Mandi brought to the
open house. Hope you enjoy them as much as we do.

1 pkg. Yellow Cake mix
1/4 cup melted butter
1 large egg
1 tsp. almond extract
1 tsp. vanilla extract
1 cup jam

Mix dry cake mix with melted butter and egg until moistened. Then add almond extract and vanilla. Mix in and spread flat into a cookie sheet. (It helps to flatten it out with the back of a spatula. Don't worry it will fill the bottom of the pan but will be thin.) Mix 1 cup jam and 1 tsp. almond extract together then spread on top of cake mix. Bake at 350 degrees for 25 min.
Then drizzle with powdered sugar frosting while still warm.
